This study was of applied type and the method was descriptive-correlation based on structural equation modeling. The population of this study included all students of educational sciences in the electronic branch of Islamic Azad University during the academic year 2020-2021.A number of 204 students were selected as the sampleusing simple random sampling. The research tool included three standard questionnaires of learning styles by Felder and Solomon(1985), philosophical media literacy (1393) and academic satisfaction by Lent et al.(2005). The face and content validity of the questionnaires were confirmed according to the experts and their reliability wasconfirmed with Cronbach’s alpha coefficients0.76, 0.81, and 0.79, respectively.Hypothesis analysis was conducted in Smart PLS3 software based on structural equation modeling. The findings indicated that learning style is directly related to academic satisfaction, media literacy is directly related to academic satisfaction, media literacy is directly related to learning style, and learning style in relationto media literacy has a mediating effect on academic satisfaction. The present study was an attempt to compare the media literacy of secondary school female students in Ardabil city. This study is applied in terms of objectives and survey in terms of methodology. The study population includes two groups. The first group consisted of a total of 19391 secondary school female students in Ardabil and the second group consisted of their parents (38782 individuals). In the present study, the Cochran formula was used to obtain the sample size and finally 400 subjects were selected as sample. SPSS software was used to analyse the data and t-test was used to analyse the hypotheses. The results show that there is a significant difference among students and their parents in terms of cognitive, emotional, ethical and aesthetic aspects of media literacy and that parents are in better status in terms of media literacy. Therefore, the authorities are recommended to upgrade the facilities for media literacy education in schools, and parent-teacher associations should notify parents about the emerging damages of the cyberspace, in addition, attempts should be made by media educators and parents to promote the students awareness of media content.
