The present research was conducted with the aim of designing and validating the model of compiling electronic textbooks in higher education. The current research is both practical and developmental in terms of its purpose. In terms of the method of data collection, it is mixed exploratory (qualitative and quantitative) and in terms of the nature and type of study, the qualitative part of the foundation data and the quantitative part is a cross-sectional survey. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative part includes experts and experts in the field of curriculum, including university professors, who were selected by a targeted sampling method of 20 people. The selection of people continued until the saturation stage. The data collection tool was the review of relevant national and international documents as well as a semi-structured exploratory interview. Finally, the database and coding method was used to classify the data. Regarding the validity of the study, in addition to the study of theoretical foundations, the research method was used by the research members. findings indicated that the appropriate basic components of the curriculum of electronic books include 19 components of balanced relationships, developed structure, destructive effects of the subsystem, effective fundamentals, determination of required resources, concept needs assessment, in-depth and comprehensive approach, determination of valid results, implementation effective, diversity in methods, effective methods, evaluation of the competence of the designer and executor, being purposeful, eliminating the gap between the parts of the program, creating double motivation in the forces, efficient management decisions.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of the concept mapping strategy on improving the learning experience in the high school biology course with accordance to the cognitive objectives of Bloom’s taxonomy in higher levels. The statistical population of this quasi-experimental study was all the male senior high school students in Abadan during the 2015-2016 academic year. Twenty-two students in two separate classes were selected as statistical sample size using multi-stage cluster sampling method and were divided into an experimental and a control group. The instrument used in this research was biology test. In order to analyze the data, one-way covariance analysis was applied. The results indicated that the implementation of the concept mapping strategy is effective in enriching the learning experience of cognitive objectives as implied in Bloom’s taxonomy for higher levels in the course of biology(p<0.001). Therefore, as the concept mapping strategy improves the learning of multiple concepts, it is essential for educators and instructors to become accustomed to features and processes they are required to exert for learning and applying this effective strategy.
