Abstract
This research, with a mixed approach, seeks to validate and develop a model for the quality of primary education with an emphasis on the role of emerging technologies. In the qualitative part, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 17 experts in the field of education and technology and analyzed using the grounded theory method. After achieving theoretical saturation, the coding of the interviews led to the identification of 264 open codes, 22 central categories, 6 general categories, and 134 basic concepts related to the model of quality of primary education in the era of emerging technologies. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the factors affecting the quality of primary education and the role of technology in improving it. In the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire and cluster sampling method were used. The statistical population was elementary schools in Tehran city. The results of the research indicate that improving the quality of primary education by utilizing emerging technologies requires comprehensive attention to the identified factors and creating coordination between them. These results can help policymakers, administrators, and teachers improve primary education based on emerging technologies.
