Abstract
With the expansion of e-learning, evaluating the quality of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in educational institutions became increasingly important. In this regard, this research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the quality of the e-learning management system at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University based on Marshall and Mitchell's E-Learning Maturity Model (eMM). In terms of purpose, this study was applied, and in terms of method, it was descriptive-survey. The statistical population of the research consisted of all 160 Master's students at the E-Learning Center of Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University during the 2024-2025 academic year, from which 113 individuals were selected through simple random sampling. The data collection tool was the standard Marshall and Mitchell (2007) E-Learning Maturity Model questionnaire. The validity of the instrument was confirmed by 8 experts, and the overall reliability of the questionnaire was obtained at 0.96 using Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed using SPSS software, one-sample t-tests, and the Friedman test. The results showed that the maturity levels of the "Management" and "Planning" dimensions were above average and possessed appropriate quality, while the "Delivery," "Definition," and "Optimization" dimensions were at an average level and required improvement. The findings indicated that the quality of the e-learning management system at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University possessed the necessary quality in the "Management Maturity" and "Planning" levels and provided the required infrastructure for delivering sustainable e-learning; however, serious measures were required to strengthen other aspects and dimensions.
